Salty Life was founded by Carolyn Newell, a licensed aesthetician with over 20 years of experience in the medical aesthetics field. She specializes in the most up-to-date treatments, services, and products to combat the effects of a life lived in the sun. Carolyn began her career in her home state of Massachusetts, working for one Boston’s leading plastic surgeons, performing extensive skincare procedures and services. After relocating to Los Angeles, Carolyn continued her work with medical estheticians’ offices, most recently as Spa Director and Esthetician at a leading medical spa in Santa Monica where she has been for 13 years.

 

Carolyn’s services include but are not limited to MicroPeel, MicroPeel Plus, TCA, Cosmelan and other various chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, Intraceuticals Oxygen Infusion, SilkPeel, and Visia Skin Analysis.

 

One specialty of Carolyn’s is working with clients who are undergoing or recently experienced chemotherapy or radiation procedures. She is certified in oncology esthetics and understands the unique skincare needs and medication side effects that impact these types of clients. She uses gentle, fragrance and chemical-free products and provides a comforting and delicate touch.

 

Carolyn lives in Manhattan Beach with her husband and enjoys the ocean, paddle boarding and bike riding.

 

Her goal with Salty Life is to make everyone leave feeling rejuvenated, glowing and ready to protect their new fresh skin for years to come. Because aging is a beach.
